what this site is
albertocanizares.com is the personal site of alberto cañizares — head of ai solutions at ai compass. it is a publication: short essays, frameworks, and notes on operational ai. it does not sell anything, ask for accounts, or collect personal information through forms.
data collected
the site uses two analytics services to count page views and understand which pages are read and where readers arrive from. vercel web analytics is cookieless and anonymous — aggregated visits, top pages, broad country, device type. google analytics 4 measures the same at a finer grain (including which link or campaign brought you here) and stores a first-party cookie on your device to tell returning visits apart. ip addresses are not logged by ga4, and the data is used for one thing: understanding what gets read. you can block the cookie with any content blocker or your browser settings and the site works exactly the same.
no advertising, retargeting, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking is used — here or anywhere on this site.
server logs
the site is hosted on vercel. as with any web host, basic request logs (ip address, user agent, requested url, timestamp) may be retained temporarily for security and infrastructure reasons. these logs are managed by vercel under their privacy policy and are not used for tracking or marketing.
email & contact
if you write to alberto@aicompass.ai, your message is read and replied to personally. it is not added to any marketing list, shared with third parties, or used for anything other than answering you.
your rights (gdpr)
under the eu general data protection regulation, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. the analytics data this site collects is aggregated and not tied to your name or identity — but if you have a specific question or request, contact alberto@aicompass.ai and it will be handled.

if anything material changes (e.g., a new analytics tool is added, a contact form is introduced), this page is updated and the change is mentioned in the next published note.
